Overview

In this role you will provide strategic financial insight to senior leadership and drive initiatives that improve profitability and efficiency. You will partner with regional and global leaders to align budgets, forecasts and performance, while ensuring financial controls and process excellence. You will lead financial analysis, scenario modelling and decision support to shape commercial outcomes across sub-regions. You will coach contract accountants and contribute to governance, including SOX where applicable. This is a global, impact-driven opportunity to help Turner & Townsend deliver value on major projects and programmes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide finance business partnering support to senior commercial and operational leaders with clear insights and challenge
  • Prepare and present annual budgets and periodic re-forecasts for accounts managed
  • Align global and regional budgets, forecasts and actual performance
  • Review and validate regional business activity assumptions
  • Produce forward-looking analysis, forecasts and scenario modelling to support decisions
  • Identify financial improvement initiatives to enhance profitability, efficiency or compliance
  • Collaborate with FP&A on budgets, forecasts, bids and ad hoc analyses
  • Support financial control in monthly variance analysis and commentary
  • Ensure consistent application of accounting standards and financial controls with the financial control team
  • Oversee the financial integrity of contracts at sub-regional level and drive standardisation of contract accounting processes
  • Coach and develop contract accountants; include SOX control responsibilities where applicable
Key requirements
  • Proven ability to translate financial data into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Commercial awareness and ability to challenge constructively to support better decision-making
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in revenue recognition and contract accounting
  • Leadership and people management skills with experience developing and motivating teams
