Conflicts Analyst/ Attorney

Overview

In this role, you support the Conflict & Intake team to identify and resolve potential conflicts for new matters. You will partner with firm attorneys to analyze ethical and policy issues, ensuring compliance and accurate conflict disclosures. The position offers a hybrid schedule across multiple offices and emphasizes rapid, precise decision-making in a deadline-driven environment. You will communicate findings clearly to attorneys and contribute to a collaborative, client-service oriented culture. This is an opportunity to shape risk management in a leading global law firm.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze conflicts and related ethical and policy issues and flag potential stop issues
  • Collect comprehensive client and related-party information from lateral candidates
  • Administer the conflicts review process and resolve conflicts per GT policies
  • Perform data analysis and research using electronic databases
  • Document processes and maintain records of conflicts information
  • Present clear summaries of conflicts to attorneys and capture institutional knowledge
  • Elevate unresolved or non-responsive issues to the requesting attorney
  • Identify and escalate ethical conflicts and unresolved issues
  • Support other department activities as needed

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and maintain confidentiality
  • Self-starter who can work independently
  • Experience in legal or analytical roles (paralegal, legal researcher, or similar)
  • Advanced graduate degree or JD desired
  • Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite
