Continuous Improvement Engineer

Overview

In this role you drive world-class manufacturing at Aristocrat's Tulsa Integration Center by applying Lean and CI methods to improve safety, quality, and efficiency. You will map value streams, run time studies, and lead Kaizen events to reduce defects and optimize material flow. You'll mentor teams, collaborate with quality and engineering, and introduce new technologies to scale improvements. This position combines hands-on problem solving with training and cross-functional collaboration to advance our World Class Manufacturing goals.

Responsibilities
  • Map value streams and conduct time studies in warehouse and assembly operations
  • Apply Lean concepts to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Lead or support Kaizen events and 5S+Safety initiatives
  • Mentor employees in LEAN methodologies and foster CI culture
  • Analyze First Pass yield and drive improvement projects to reduce defects
  • Collaborate with quality and manufacturing engineering on poke-yoke and visual controls
  • Assist engineering manager in setting/achieving annual targets
  • Identify and implement new technologies to improve processes
  • Prepare training materials on World Class Manufacturing techniques
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives through presentations
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years in manufacturing with electro-mechanical products or white goods OR Master's degree with 1 year of experience
  • Certified LEAN or Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred
  • Hands-on problem solver with end-to-end optimization experience (value stream mapping, material flow)
  • Strong mathematics and ROI skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Visio
  • Continuous Improvement experience in production and warehouse operations
  • Experience with Discrete Event simulation tools like Arena or equivalent
  • Collaborative and team-oriented
