Responsibilities- Prepare construction drawings and sketches and help plan construction methods
- Manage field material needs, initiate requisitions, and perform quantity takeoffs
- Verify quantities in tracking systems and related databases
- Uphold safety and quality standards and enforce zero-accident philosophy
- Pursue continuous learning and applicable training
- Coordinate system turnover and area scoping for package development (System Turnover/Direct Hire)
- Review and approve inspection test plans and coordinate subcontractor submittals
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience
- Technical knowledge of construction engineering across a discipline or multi-discipline context
- Familiarity with Bechtel policies, ES&H Handbook, and Core Processes
- Knowledge of environmental compliance requirements
- Understanding of subcontracting and supervision of subcontractors
- Ability to work flexible shifts and perform physical field inspections in challenging conditions
