Overview As Senior AI Engineer, you will build AI-powered learning and development tools for Hivemind. You'll own an AI training coach and create technical curricula, labs, and workshops for engineers. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure materials stay current with Hivemind releases and demonstrably improve customer capability. This role blends production AI engineering, developer experience, and educational design to accelerate technical proficiency at scale. Responsibilities- Develop an AI-powered training coach to teach Hivemind concepts, products, and workflows
- Create highly technical training materials and hands-on workshops for engineers
- Build prompt-based tooling to generate workshops from defined objectives and sources
- Develop LLM-based tooling to upgrade and improve training materials
- Build AI tools and systems to enable and automate L&D workflows
Key requirements- Proven experience building production software or AI-enabled products
- Hands-on integration of LLMs, generative AI APIs, retrieval-augmented generation, or AI-assisted automation
- Strong software engineering fundamentals: API design, testing, observability, documentation, secure coding, maintainable architecture, ownership
- Proficiency in Python; ability to read and create examples in C++
- Experience translating complex concepts into technical documentation, labs, workshops, or enablement material
- Ability to learn complex products quickly and convert ambiguous needs into practical learning solutions
- Experience evaluating AI system quality with automated tests, telemetry, or human-reviewed measures
