You will collaborate with cross functional teams to mature power systems and ensure reliability in harsh space environments. Responsibilities- Design, analyze, and test DC-DC power converters for harsh environments
- Evaluate electrical power system and sub-system level design trades and derive requirements
- Define and perform electrical power system verification testing and analyses
- Collaborate with design, test, and production engineers to develop power electronics hardware
Key requirements- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field; 1+ years in power converter development
- Analog control and discrete logic design
- Modeling, simulation, and testing of power electronics
- Voltage and current mode control and compensation design
- AC-DC converters and power factor correction
- DC-DC topologies and selection of architectures and components
- Design for fault tolerance and reliability
