Overview In this role you will assess products against national and international safety standards, prepare technical documentation, and support both lab testing and client engagements. You will collaborate with a small, growing team to deliver compliant test results and certifications in a multinational lab environment. The position combines technical testing with client-facing responsibilities, offering opportunities to mentor junior engineers and contribute to safety-verification projects. This is a hands-on role with occasional travel that underpins Eurofins' commitment to safe, compliant household and AV/ICT products.

Responsibilities- Assess products for compliance with UL/CSA/IEC 62368-1, 61010-1, 60335-1 and other safety standards
- Prepare technical files, reports and certificates
- Develop test plans and coordinate testing with the test engineer
- Conduct tests in Eurofins labs or at customer sites as needed
- Provide technical guidance in client meetings
- Travel domestically or internationally as required
- Prepare quotations in collaboration with the sales team
- Senior roles may review draft reports and mentor trainee engineers
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with AV/ICT/Household Testing Standards
- Experience with safety standards UL/CSA/IEC 62368-1, 61010-1, 60335-1
- Demonstrated safety testing experience in an NRTL, test lab, or manufacturing environment
- Strong engineering foundation and ability to perform testing independently
- Effective written and verbal communication with clients and management
- Attention to detail and strict adherence to test procedures
- Ability to move and set up test equipment
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
