Chronosphere - Customer Success Architect

Overview

In this role you guide Chronosphere's largest customers post-sale, turning their observability goals into measurable outcomes. You will build strategic partnerships, drive adoption, and influence product decisions from technical and business angles. You operate across cross-functional teams to mitigate risk and deliver value while shaping the customer success strategy during a rapid growth phase. This is a senior, impact-driven role with a focus on strategic account leadership and results.

Responsibilities
  • Build trusted relationships with customers at multiple levels, from end users to executives
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned customers
  • Lead strategic engagements such as executive reviews and onboarding
  • Serve as primary advisor on technical initiatives and business outcomes
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the customer portfolio
  • Navigate Chronosphere ecosystem to remove obstacles and maximize value
  • Voice customer needs to influence product and CS strategies
  • Drive platform adoption and measurable ROI, communicating value to customers
  • Provide strategic insights to help customers reach business goals
  • Contribute to evolving CS playbooks and best practices
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in technical, customer-facing roles (CS, Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or Professional Services)
  • Experience managing a portfolio of large, complex customers with 1M+ ARR
  • Ability to partner with technical stakeholders (DevOps, Engineering, CTO/CIO) and tailor communication
  • Strategic mindset with account ownership and influence over executive conversations
  • Strong project management, executive communication, discovery, stakeholder management, and value storytelling skills
  • Hands-on knowledge of observability, monitoring, cloud-native environments, and Kubernetes, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and distributed systems
