Overview In this role you will design electrical power systems for water facilities, ensuring reliable operation and compliance. You'll work with a senior engineer to deliver load calculations, conduit routing, MCC/switchgear design, and specifications. The position blends hands-on design with field start-up experience and client interaction to support resilient water infrastructure. Responsibilities- Perform detailed electrical power systems design for water and wastewater facilities with minimum supervision by a Senior Level Electrical Engineer
- Conduct load calculations and conduit routing
- Design motor control centers and switchgear
- Generate specifications for electrical systems
Key requirements- 4 to 6 years experience working in Electrical Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Familiarity with power system applications including short circuit, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factor
- Field investigative and start-up experience
- Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 820 and NESC
- Familiarity with the IEEE color book series
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
