MB Quality Engineer

In this role you drive quality across the plant by improving key metrics and maintaining the Quality Management System. You will lead corrective actions, manage non-conforming product, and coordinate inspections and audits to ensure product integrity. Working with cross-functional teams, you'll develop KPIs, support Kaizen projects, and guide root-cause analyses to prevent issues. • Improve and monitor key quality metrics and KPI performance
• Develop, prove and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Coordinate product classification/rework due to supplier/customer issues
• Lead corrective actions and problem-solving processes (8D, CAPA, A3)
• Manage non-conforming product tracking and closure
• Audit and release new products and manage incoming inspections
• Develop and improve CTQs, CP, SPC, and audit documentation
• Coordinate rework across plant/warehouse/in-transit with customers
• Manage RTVs (Returns to vendor) and customer complaints
• Participate in Tier 2/3 meetings and Kaizen projects
• Support LPA audits, FPY, and scrap management
• Audit of new products per customer requirements

• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies: 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, A3, CAPA
• Basic knowledge of GD&T
• Knowledge of Core Tools: SPC, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA
• Lean Tools and LPAs
• Six Sigma familiarity
