Overview

In this role you enable the people strategy across Flagship Labs' pioneering units. You will build trusted partnerships with senior leaders, shape talent development, and design sustainable HR practices for a fast-paced, matrixed environment. You'll drive change, organizational design, and workforce planning to scale a culture of entrepreneurship. This is a hands-on, strategic partner role that impacts how teams learn, grow, and perform at the frontier of life sciences.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the HRBP team supporting Flagship Labs companies
  • Serve as strategic advisor to senior leaders translating business goals into HR practices
  • Coach leaders to enhance engagement, development, and culture aligned with Flagship values
  • Partner with Learning & Talent Development to implement leadership programs and career paths
  • Align talent strategies across PBUs and companies in a matrixed environment
  • Guide change management and organizational design initiatives
  • Support talent acquisition, onboarding, immigration, and related processes
  • Act as steward of employee experience and culture across Flagship Labs
  • Design manager capability initiatives and measure impact with metrics
  • Collaborate with Talent Development to standardize and tailor programs across units
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 15-20+ years HR experience or Master's degree with 10-15+ years HR experience
  • Prior pharma/biopharma experience (preferred)
  • Experience in highly matrixed, fast-paced environments
  • Proven coaching and strategic partnership with senior leaders
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategy into people initiatives
  • Ability to influence without authority and lead cross-functional teams
  • HR leadership experience and strong change management skills
  • Proficiency in HR analytics and interpreting trends
  • Knowledge of OD concepts, change management, and leadership development
  • Proficiency with MS Office, HRIS, and collaboration tools
