Overview In this role you will lead Tubi's Content Acquisitions Legal team, guiding legal risk, partner management, and negotiation strategies. You will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance and Fox teams to shape content strategy and mitigate risk. You'll translate complex legal issues into practical business advice to support company OKRs and growth in streaming and ad tech. You will build scalable processes and train the legal team while fostering strong internal and partner relationships. This is a high-impact leadership position at a fast-paced, collaborative media company.

Responsibilities- Lead and develop the Content Acquisitions Legal team (four attorneys)
- Review, draft and negotiate content license and distribution agreements
- Provide business-forward legal analysis and risk assessments to stakeholders
- Develop and implement process improvements and efficiencies for the team
- Create training for the Legal team and establish best practices across verticals
- Maintain timely updates to internal and external parties on negotiation status
- Foster trust and strong relationships with internal stakeholders, licensors and Fox colleagues
- Escalate issues to the GC when appropriate
- Support overflow work for other Legal verticals as needed
Key requirements- 15+ years of legal experience in a combination of law firm and entertainment/media/tech company
- 5+ years of experience managing, coaching and developing a high-performing legal team
- Experience negotiating and drafting content acquisition and distribution agreements
- Understanding of digital rights management issues
- Excellent negotiator with strong relationship management
- Strong drafting skills balancing protections with business needs
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Executive presence and leadership with ability to coach a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication to non-legal colleagues
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage high-volume workload
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school
- Admission to the state bar in at least one U.S. state
