Overview In this role you will lead client audits within a top public accounting firm, applying deep accounting and auditing knowledge to complex situations. You will nurture client relationships and supervise staff to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables. You will resolve intricate issues, support financial statement preparation, and help uphold audit quality in line with GAAP. This position fits within a collaborative team driving rigorous assurance services for diverse clients.
Compensation / Benefits Responsibilities- Develop and maintain productive client relationships and monitor client satisfaction
- Maintain proactive client contact throughout the year
- Direct and review staff workflow to ensure engagements stay within budget and report status to management
- Manage staff performance including feedback, training, and performance reviews
- Apply deep understanding of complex accounting/auditing concepts to client situations
- Research and make preliminary decisions on complex accounting and auditing issues
Key requirements- Bachelor in Accounting
- Minimum of three years' auditing experience
- Audit experience in public accounting preferred
- CPA or pursuing preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with preparation of financial statements on GAAP and income tax basis
- Ability to read/understand partnership, loan and other agreements integral to the audit
- Ability to audit and understand complex transactions
