Overview In this role you will shape next generation power electronics and VSD control solutions at a global leader. You'll own advanced control algorithms for embedded processors and drive the full product lifecycle from concept to validated hardware. You'll work hands on designing and testing PCB assemblies, prototypes, and reliability driven details to improve product performance. Collaborating at the Advanced Development and Engineering Center, you'll tackle meaningful challenges with impact across industries.

Responsibilities- Model and simulate control concepts in MATLAB/Simulink with auto-code generation
- Prototype testing with hardware-in-the-loop, VSDs, and chillers to verify performance
- Support field issue troubleshooting and control method improvements
- Maintain PCB designs with embedded processors and FPGA/CPLD
- Perform worst case circuit analysis and apply reliability principles
- Assist internal customers with PCBA projects
- Conduct cost analyses for feasibility studies and design modifications
- Develop and manage project schedules and integrate new processes across development stages
Key requirements- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of professional experience in power electronics and variable speed drives (8+ years if Master's)
- Strong modeling, simulation, and controller design skills using MATLAB/SIMULINK
- Solid understanding of power electronics and motor control
- Experience with Auto-code generation using MATLAB/SIMULINK
- Familiarity with circuit design and layout tools such as Altium
