Overview

In this role you will handle and package chemical waste at customer sites, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. You work in varied environments, supporting lab packs, HHW collections and lab moves as part of a field team. The position offers paid academy training and clear pathways for growth into management across Clean Harbors' nationwide network. You will be on the front line with customers, delivering safe, compliant waste handling at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare packing lists, labels, manifests and disposal notifications
  • Inspect staging areas, storage drums and housekeeping for compliance
  • Collect, segregate and package waste to maximize efficiency and compliance
  • Execute jobs at customer locations including Fortune 500 companies
  • Finalize project preparation and approval per OSHA, EPA, DOT and company policies
  • Conduct site-specific regulatory and health and safety plan compliance
  • Understand disposal restrictions and special packaging requirements
  • Sample and profile new waste streams requiring analytical testing
  • Ensure drum counts and shippable drum conditions
  • Operate vehicles per DOT and follow corporate safety guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Strong customer service skills
  • CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months by position
  • Perform physical functions per job requirements
  • Successfully complete background check, drug test, and physical by position
  • Facial hair compliance with OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard 29 CFR 1910.34
