Overview In this role you will apply modeling and simulation to develop and verify complex GNC solutions for missiles and related systems. You will join a skilled, cross-functional team supporting multiple contracts and IRADs, shaping analyses from requirements through HWIL testing. You will work on 6-DOF missile models and effects-based simulations, driving performance evaluation and system-level validation. This position offers a path to impactful work within a mission-driven defense context and potential relocation to Orlando or Grand Prairie.

Responsibilities- Design and document model and simulation requirements and architecture
- Develop, verify, and validate complex models and simulations (e.g., missile 6-DOF, effects-based)
- Evaluate system performance against requirements in complex scenarios
- Conduct critical studies, analyses, and test activities
- Support ground and flight test efforts including Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL)
- Participate in program reviews and technical interchange meetings
Key requirements- US Citizen with Interim Secret clearance to start
- Post Secondary STEM degree with 1+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in C++
- Proficient in MATLAB or Python
- Experience in GNC or Modeling & Simulation (algorithms, vehicle models, 6-DOF)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Organizational and interpersonal skills
