Overview In this role you lead end-to-end PMC delivery for major infrastructure programs, acting as the client's trusted agent and shaping project strategy, controls, and delivery. You'll work with executive clients, coordinate cross-functional teams, and identify opportunities to expand HNTB's PMC footprint. Your impact spans risk management, procurement, and program governance, contributing to complex, high-value projects. This is a senior, client-facing role that combines leadership with deep domain expertise to drive successful outcomes.
Responsibilities- Act as the client's agent for complex PMC services across strategic planning, procurement, risk, project controls, quality, construction, and closeout
- Assess and manage significant financial risk on behalf of the client
- Identify opportunities to grow HNTB's presence and revenue in PMC
- Represent HNTB with state and national industry organizations and maintain executive-level client relationships
- Engage with executive government or client leaders on advanced program matters and coordinate across organizations
- Define staffing needs and provide direction to project managers, staff, and subcontractors
- Understand client perspectives and align them with firm culture and delivery
- Develop comprehensive client service action plans and conduct client project reviews
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- 15 years relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
- PE license (Professional Engineer) required
- Experience in heavy civil transportation and/or program management roles
