Overview In this role you will lead civil site development projects within GPI's Land Development group in Pittsburgh. You'll ensure compliance of plans with codes, mentor junior staff, and manage client interactions on municipal and private developments. The position blends technical review with project leadership, delivering public works and land development solutions. Responsibilities- Review civil plans for compliance with codes and standards
- Evaluate stormwater management permits and plans
- Mentor staff on engineering and plan preparation
- Interact with clients on ongoing projects
- Attend meetings including staff and municipal board meetings
- Assist with public works projects for clients
Key requirements- PA Professional Engineer
- Bachelor in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Ten+ years of municipal engineering and/or private land development experience
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and municipal codes
- Experience with land use regulations and permitting in Pennsylvania
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR
- Ability to read/write/understand plans in English
- Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams
