Water Wastewater Engineer/Project Manager

In this role you will lead water and wastewater projects for central Virginia, guiding client relationships and project delivery. You'll work with a team to apply industry-leading practices and technologies to solve complex water challenges. You will manage planning, design, and construction phases, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This is a growth-focused, client-facing position that blends technical leadership with mentorship and business development.

• Lead the development and execution of water and wastewater projects as a client-facing project manager
• Oversee planning, design, and construction administration, ensuring contract, code, and safety compliance
• Set project goals with clients and coordinate resources to meet schedule and budget
• Provide technical leadership as a design lead, QA/QC reviewer, or technical advisor
• Mentor junior engineers and staff while supervising teams
• Support marketing and proposals, including scope/budget development and winning presentations

• 8+ years of experience
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical)
• P.E. License with ability to obtain Virginia licensure within 6 months
