Overview In this role, you will lead tax engagements and provide strategic tax planning for clients in a growing Northeast practice. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to supervise engagements, develop staff, and deliver high-quality tax services. You'll engage with industry events and trainings to stay ahead in corporate and individual tax matters, enhancing client value and career growth for the team. Responsibilities- Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning
- Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements
- Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers
- Foster and build opportunities for our clients, communities, and people
- Become an industry professional and attend industry-leading events and trainings
- Perform a range of tax procedures in accordance with the size and complexity of the engagement
- Review complex individual and corporate tax returns
Key requirements- 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm
- 10+ years experience highly preferred
- Active CPA certification (JD or EA may be accepted in place of CPA)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
