Responsibilities- Lead cross-functional engineering and architect teams to define and implement Zero Trust architecture
- Govern and advance enterprise security programs aligning with DoW strategy
- Oversee full lifecycle of secure network architecture from concept to sustainment
- Drive multi-year modernization initiatives across mission and enterprise systems
- Coordinate with executives and program leadership on investments and standards
- Guide accreditation activities and compliance with DoW directives
- mentor and develop technical teams to address evolving security challenges
- Integrate security across cloud and on-premises environments
Key requirements- 10+ years in network engineering and cybersecurity in DoW or federal environments with leadership in enterprise architecture
- 2+ years architecting and overseeing Zero Trust implementations at scale
- Experience leading documentation and approval of complex architectures for defense programs
- Experience in IAM, micro-segmentation, endpoint security, data-centric environments, virtualization, secure network or cloud architecture
- Experience operating in classified environments and advising stakeholders on secure design decisions
- Knowledge of DoW security standards, RMF/ATO processes, and compliance frameworks
- Ability to guide programs through accreditation activities
