Sr. Technical Claim Manager/Attorney-D&O/EPL (hybrid)

As a claims professional at RLI, you will proactively manage and resolve Directors & Officers, Fiduciary and Employment Practices Liability claims. You will assess coverage, investigate promptly, and reserve appropriately while coordinating with outside counsel. Your work supports fair, efficient payouts and adherence to Best Practices, contributing to RLI's culture of ownership and exceptional results. • Handle claims proactively to achieve optimum payout results by resolving claims fairly, expeditiously and economically
• Assess coverage issues on claims and issue appropriate coverage letters/documentation within required timeframe
• Complete timely investigation of claim and establish appropriate reserves
• Proactively manage outside counsel on litigated claims
• Handle claims in accordance with RLI's Best Practices

• B.A. plus 6+ years of claim-handling and/or comparable legal experience with concentration in D&O, fiduciary and EPL claims
• J.D. strongly preferred
