Overview In this individual contributor role, you will assess financial risk for the organization, design actuarial documentation, and conduct product line analyses and modeling. You'll translate actuarial insights into actionable recommendations for cross-functional partners and ensure compliance with standards and regulations. You will shape financial risk assessments, support business decisions, and contribute to risk management initiatives within the team. Responsibilities- Perform actuarial analyses and modeling to evaluate financial risk and opportunities
- Develop actuarial documentation for financial reports and regulatory responses
- Conduct product line evaluations including pricing, reserves, valuation, and cash flow analyses
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate mathematical constructs into actionable recommendations
- Develop and validate advanced actuarial models and scenarios using in-house tools
- Ensure adherence to Actuarial Standards of Practice and regulatory requirements
- Support planning and problem solving for business priorities and deadlines
- Identify improvement opportunities and communicate risks and issues to stakeholders
Key requirements- Bachelor in Mathematics
- Minimum six years of actuarial experience
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries Certificate or Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society Certificate
- Equivalent related work experience may substitute for the degree requirement
