Overview In this Senior Audit Manager role you will shape the Audit & Assurance practice as a member of the executive team. You'll guide strategy, quality control, and resource allocation across the department, bridging partners, complex client accounts, and engagement teams. Responsibilities- Practice Leadership & Strategy: co-create audit methodology, oversee profitability, and allocate resources across the assurance group
- High-Level Engagement Oversight: supervise complex audits, reviews, and compilations with adherence to GAAP/GAAS and regulations
- Executive Client Advisory: maintain relationships with boards, audit committees, and senior executives on accounting issues and risk
- Team Development & Mentorship: lead and develop managers, supervisors, and staff; drive training and culture
- Business Development: contribute to proposals, client presentations, and firm growth initiatives to expand regional presence
Key requirements- 8+ years of progressive public accounting audit experience
- 2-3 years in a Manager-level role supervising multiple complex engagements
- Active CPA license
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, internal control frameworks, and audit automation tools
