Overview In this role you will lead hydrology & hydraulic modeling and civil design across coastal resilience and site development projects. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to shape resilient infrastructure and sustainable solutions. You will guide technical approaches, support project delivery, and mentor colleagues while advancing Arup's mission to create a better world. Responsibilities- Lead development of H&H models for coastal resilience, drainage, and flood risk projects
- Design utilities, roads, drainage, green infrastructure, and civil elements for site development
- Serve as civil technical lead on due diligence and masterplanning for hyperscale clients
- Coordinate with disciplines such as architecture, landscape, geotechnical, transportation, urban planning, and environmental engineering
- Provide construction phase support and site supervision
- Develop client relationships and collaborate with project owners and consultants
- Mentor and develop team members
- Engage with local agencies to understand land use and permitting processes
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Master's degree preferred
- Professional Engineering license preferred
- 6+ years of civil engineering / site development experience
- Strong knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, low impact development, 3-D utility design, grading and earthwork, roadway geometry, and accessibility standards
- Proficiency in H&H modeling (InfoWorks-ICM, HEC-HMS) and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience coordinating project delivery with owners, contractors, and consultants
