Overview In this role you will support the Water Resources Engineering team in delivering surface water and coastal hydraulic modeling and related analyses. You will contribute to planning, design, and documentation for civil and hydraulics projects, working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. You will help develop exhibits, reports, and bid packages while building technical expertise in stormwater and coastal modeling. Responsibilities- Perform 1D and 2D riverine and coastal hydraulic modeling
- Conduct numerical modeling for stormwater and drainage improvements
- Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for bid packages
- Participate in design meetings and project decisions on technical approaches and scheduling
- Prepare written and graphic reports and deliver presentations
- Draft various technical documents under direction
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 2 - 6+ years of experience
- Completion of FE or EIT Certification
- Professional Engineer license preferred
- Experience with HEC-RAS, ESRI GIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and establish effective relationships
