Manufacturing Engineer, Forging

In this role you will oversee forging drawing reviews, CapEx planning, and automation feedback as part of the Factory-as-a-Service team. You will help design and implement forging lines, support new factory build efforts, and contribute to manufacturing transformations across domains. You will partner with customers and the Federal team to deliver cost, schedule, and technical solutions, while ensuring manufacturability and efficient production. This position offers exposure to high impact defense programs and an opportunity to restore forging as a core American capability.

• Analyze drawings and current production state to design, build, and guide automation of Forging DFM, Production, and Inspection Lines
• Contribute as a key player in factories as a service efforts
• Deliver cost/schedule/solutions in partnership with customers and the Federal team
• Own CapEx planning, vendor selection, and costing

• SME with deep expertise in forging production and inspection
• Able to travel 25% to DOD and prime facilities
• Able to analyse DFM, and design/plan production and inspection lines for Forging
• Prior experience standing up new Forging lines in Aerospace, Automotive or other domains
• Ability to move quickly and make risk-adjusted decisions
