Overview As Director of Digital Product, you will lead Polaris' enterprise digital engineering product ecosystem, guiding platforms that support the full product lifecycle from design to service. You will shape the strategy, operating model, and long-term investments to enable scalable, data-driven ways of working across the enterprise. This role partners with senior leaders to align technology investments with business priorities and deliver measurable outcomes. You will oversee cross-functional product teams and drive transformation in digital engineering capabilities with broad enterprise impact.

Responsibilities- Define and own the enterprise digital product strategy for engineering platforms and capabilities (PLM, ALM, CAD)
- Establish a multi-year product vision, roadmap, and investment strategy balancing innovation, platform sustainability, debt reduction, and business value
- Ensure health and performance of the engineering digital product portfolio (adoption, cost efficiency, productivity, quality, time-to-market)
- Lead the evolution of the digital engineering operating model, governance, funding, agile-at-scale practices, and value measurement
- Enable and scale the digital thread across CAD-driven engineering BOMs to manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and service
- Advance systems engineering, MBSE, PLM, ALM, and CAD platforms supporting virtual build, virtual testing, MBD, and platform-based development
- Serve as executive decision and escalation authority for cross-domain prioritization and platform investments
- Partner across enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and manufacturing to ensure secure, compliant, future-ready platforms and align vendor roadmaps
- Guide release planning, dependency management, and roadmap transparency for predictable delivery
- Establish value-based prioritization frameworks, KPIs, and continuous improvement driven by data and user feedback
- Lead, mentor, and develop product leaders and shape product organization design and capability maturity
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 15+ years of progressive experience in technology, engineering systems, and business strategy in complex enterprises
- 7+ years of senior product leadership owning enterprise platforms or digital product portfolios in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial domains
- Deep experience with PLM, ALM, CAD; preference for PTC solutions
- Proven track record defining and executing enterprise-scale, multi-year product strategies with measurable outcomes
- Experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives with influence on executive stakeholders
- Strong financial and analytical skills including ROI measurement and portfolio governance
- Exceptional communication skills translating technical concepts to executive insights
- Leadership in digital engineering transformation (MBD, virtual testing, configuration-driven development) within relevant industries
- Experience with agile-at-scale frameworks (SAFe, ; industry thought leadership in digital engineering
