Overview

In this role you guide category strategy and insights for the 7-Eleven and East Coast Convenience segments, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive growth. You will synthesize data from multiple sources to uncover opportunities and influence key decision makers. Your work shapes planograms, assortments, and strategic initiatives that elevate KDP's category leadership. This role offers hands-on impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment at Frisco, TX with travel.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with key contacts to position KDP as a top category partner
  • Deliver integrated consumer, shopper, category, and marketplace insights to inform strategic choices and executions
  • Perform robust analysis using research, category management capabilities, and data visualization to identify opportunities or challenges
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and the customer to create strategic and tactical solutions
  • Plan and execute planogram and assortment reviews
  • Provide category management reporting, trend analysis, and customized reports for cross-functional and customer stakeholders
  • Elevate analysis to translate insights into retail actions and anticipate issues
  • Serve as the expert on category topics to cross-functional team members
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) with a focus on category management, business analytics and/or shopper insights
  • Background in Beverage Industry & 7-Eleven preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Strong ability to leverage facts and insights into actionable recommendations
  • Proven track record in building collaborative partnerships with customers and internal teams
  • Capability to influence strategies and tactics at retailer and manufacturer levels
  • Extensive syndicated data knowledge (IRI, Nielsen, Infoscout POS)
  • Advanced proficiency in JDA Space Planning
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
