Principal Analog Validation Engineer

As an Analog Validation Engineer / Architect, you will lead the end-to-end validation of analog circuitry across platforms, ensuring automated, reliable measurements and concise reporting. You'll build parametric validation plans, develop DUT test configurations, and create hardware automation for measurements over process, voltage, temperature, and configurations. You will coordinate with Design, Product & Test Engineering, Applications, Software, and Product Analysis teams to debug IP-related issues and prepare instrumentation and boards before silicon arrival. • Build parametric validation plans from electrical specifications
• Write software to configure DUT for required test cases
• Create hardware automation sequences for parametric measurements
• Analyze parametric data and generate pass/fail/margin reports
• Interface with multiple engineering teams to debug IP-related issues
• Research and recommend hardware required for measurements
• Generate hardware design requirements and participate in schematic/layout reviews

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 12+ years of experience
• Experience with high-speed/RF lab equipment (oscilloscopes, BER testers, vector network analyzers, phase noise analyzers)
• C programming experience; TestStand and Python a plus
• Data analysis with Excel, JMP, and/or PowerBI
• Debug hardware setups and schematic reading
• Familiarity with SerDes validation and Ethernet IEEE 802.3 protocols desired
• Problem-solving and attention to detail across silicon, board, and software interactions
• AI prompting for software generation a plus
