Overview In this role you will drive new business growth by identifying and securing contracts for small-scale landscape installation projects. You'll balance sales expertise with industry knowledge and relationship management to grow the client base and revenue while ensuring long-term customer satisfaction. You will work cross-functionally to develop proposals, guide opportunities through the pipeline, and position the company as a preferred partner. This role combines strategy, client engagement, and hands-on deal execution to fuel growth.

Responsibilities- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of installation opportunities outside the maintenance book
- Create customized proposals and sales presentations addressing client needs and value
- Negotiate and close contracts aligned with pricing standards and profitability
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with property managers, developers, contractors, and decision-makers
- Serve as the primary contact during the sales cycle and ensure smooth handoff to operations
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities, and drive retention
- Stay informed on local market conditions, competitors, and industry trends
- Represent the company at trade associations and networking events
- Leverage market intelligence to position the company as a preferred landscaping partner
- Collaborate with estimating, operations, and project management to ensure accurate proposals and delivery
- Review large scale ($1M+) projects with senior leadership (SVP)
- Assist branch and senior leadership in setting annual sales goals, budgets, and strategies
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and results in CRM
Key requirements- 3-5 years of proven success in B2B sales, preferably in landscaping, construction, property management, or related services
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices, horticulture, and project management fundamentals
- Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
- Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting
- Regular local travel to client sites and industry events
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
