Overview In this role you will support operational and development programs to enable zero-defect projects, delivering robust manufacturing process technology for materials, tooling, and assembly. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement engineering releases, drive improvements, and lead lean initiatives. This position offers the chance to shape manufacturing capabilities and contribute to high-quality production in a fast-paced environment. You will be a key contributor to continuous improvement and problem solving at scale.
Responsibilities- Develop technical solutions to complex problems
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Quality and Production Operations to implement released engineering
- Apply root cause analysis and CAPA to reduce non-conformances
- Oversee tooling and production planning from concept to production
- Design processes with high process capability using the standard tool suite
- Lead cost estimation, schedule coordination, build process definition and implementation for new products and tooling
- Lead engineering teams to deliver measurable, metrics-driven results aligned with Value Stream and Program goals
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers
- Continuously improve production processes through Lean initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 6+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations
- Proven ability to work independently in various manufacturing environments
