Overview As an Associate Professor in UTMB's Radiation Oncology department, you provide comprehensive patient care across pediatric and adult populations, including incarcerated patients, with a focus on outpatient management and select inpatient consultations. You will lead and participate in clinical research and education for fellows, residents, and students, while maintaining strict compliance and safety standards. Responsibilities- Provide patient clinical services for pediatric and adult populations, including consultations, follow-up, and on-treatment visits
- Staff and perform advanced radiotherapy procedures (stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiotherapy, high-dose delivery at LINAC, brachytherapy insertion/planning/delivery)
- Staff 4D-RT/simulation and DIBH, image-guided simulation and clinical simulation
- Enroll patients on clinical trials and contribute to education of fellows, residents, medical students, PA students, and radiation therapy students
- Maintain compliance, billing standards, ethics, quality and safety; uphold UTMB staff membership requirements
- Maintain board certification and participate in rotational on-call duties
