Overview In this role you support FEMA-funded disaster recovery programs within EisnerAmper's Government Sector. You help clients stay compliant with FEMA and 2 CFR 200, support closeouts and financial management, and contribute to proposals and business development. You work across state and local recovery programs, translating regulatory requirements into actionable deliverables. The position offers exposure to large federal relief initiatives and cross-office collaboration, with opportunities to shape program implementation and drive impactful outcomes.
Responsibilities- Support client compliance with FEMA regulations and 2 CFR 200, including audit readiness and gap assessment
- Assist in expediting complex closeouts of open disaster for multiple programs
- Support financial management functions such as time/cost tracking and cost reconciliation
- Apply knowledge to determine methods of program implementation
- Ensure timely, accurate development of client deliverables
- Engage in business development by identifying funding opportunities and assisting proposal submissions
- Occasional extended hours or travel to client sites or different offices
Key requirements- 1+ year of experience in state/local disaster recovery programs administering FEMA funds
- Knowledge of FEMA disaster programs, related laws/regulations, policies, and compliance/financial management functions
