Overview

As a Software Engineer at OCC, you will lead and contribute across the technology delivery lifecycle to enhance enterprise platforms. You'll share best practices, mentor teammates, and drive platform improvements through SaaS/low-code initiatives and system administration. You'll work on integrating enterprise tools and maintaining secure, high-performing solutions. This role offers meaningful impact in a regulated financial services context with a strong emphasis on knowledge transfer and continuous learning.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership across planning, design, installation, testing, and implementation of solutions
  • Serve as SME for SDLC platforms (Confluence, Jira, SpiraTest)
  • Implement Atlassian plugins and integrate with other enterprise software
  • Ensure best-practice development, security, tuning, and performance
  • Support Knowledge Management program strategy and technical implementation
  • Create knowledge documentation for requirements and solution design
  • Facilitate training sessions and develop train-the-trainer models
  • Own solution implementation quality and deliver delightful user experiences
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements
  • Stay current with industry trends and propose tool/process improvements
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of IT experience
  • 3+ years implementing Atlassian products
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum or DevOps
  • knowledge of SDLC pipeline tools like Git, Jenkins, SonarQube (preferred)
  • 4+ years SaaS platform implementation and/or system administration (preferred)
  • 3-5 years cloud platform development/maintenance (preferred)
  • Bachelor in STEM" (as provided)

  • Strong communication and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Collaborative team player with interpersonal skills
  • Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira, SpiraTest)
