Section Manager - Traffic and Safety Engineering

Lead the technical discipline in traffic and safety engineering, guiding design, development, and delivery of projects. Manage a team of 6-8 engineers, coordinate priorities, and ensure staffing and resources align with client needs. Drive professional development, ensure high-quality outcomes, and advance the firm's strategic objectives through collaborative delivery and client satisfaction.

• Manage section budget and forecast updates
• Develop and grow the discipline staff; mentor and train team
• Coordinate section activities and staff assignments to projects
• Collaborate with other sections for work-sharing opportunities
• Support SSA strategic planning and project pursuits
• Support SCA contracting processes including scope, work plan, and fees
• Oversee SDA processes and project performance methods
• Assist in client discovery, proposals, interviews, and win-to-work activities
• Maintain client contacts to ensure satisfaction
• Recruit, hire, develop, and retain staff; plan performance and succession
• Lead project management activities including scope, schedule, budget, and quality
• Directly and indirectly supervise 5-10+ staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8 years of practical experience including 2 years of leadership experience
