Overview In this role, you provide tax consulting and advisory services on revenue and expense recognition, capitalization, cost recovery, and inventory accounting, supporting AMP projects and M&A-related diligence. You will lead AMP engagements, coordinate with Washington National Tax specialists, and guide teams through technical analyses and client interactions. You'll work across lines of business to deliver integrated client service and stay current with regulatory changes. Responsibilities- Identify, review, and manage AMP projects with support from WNT AMP specialists
- Lead delivery of AMP changes and 481(a) adjustments, supporting tax provisions and IRS interactions
- Understand GAAP/IFRS and current accounting pronouncements
- Review technical memos, tax positions, and IRS responses
- Mentor and develop junior professionals through formal and informal means
- Foster cross-team collaboration to deliver integrated client service
- Coordinate with multiple teams to deliver AMP, FCI, TPS, and E&E analyses as needed
- Maintain industry competency through continuing education and certifications
Key requirements- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or related BSc with relevant fields
- Completion of CPA licensure requirements or eligibility
- Minimum four years of tax experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Proven ability to meet client service and deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective project management and multi-tasking abilities
- Willingness to travel and be onsite as needed
