Overview In this role you will lead the end-to-end integration and launch of automation systems at our Midway, TN site, driving design-to-operations handoff. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, performance validation, and scalable solutions. You'll influence design, manage budget and schedule, and push continuous improvement across sites using data-driven insights. Responsibilities- Lead the integration and implementation of automation systems to improve distribution center performance
- Analyze complex operational and system data to inform decisions and drive performance
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resources for automation initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, operations, and vendors to resolve technical challenges
- Identify and implement Lean-based process improvements and continuous improvement methods
- Build business cases and perform cost analyses to justify automation investments
- Oversee system testing, validation, and documentation to ensure quality and performance standards
Key requirements- Experience in automation engineering and system integration within supply chain or industrial environments
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Demonstrated project management experience delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Business acumen including cost analysis, investment justification, and vendor management
- Effective communication skills to influence stakeholders and align cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of operational excellence, engineering economics, and continuous improvement principles
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 2 years' experience; Option 2: 4 years' experience in engineering, supply chain, or related area
