Lead Actuary, Pricing - Executive Benefits

Overview

In this role you will support pricing for Lincoln's Executive Benefits products, including COLI/BOLI and PPLI. You'll influence product design, assumptions, and regulatory filings, while assessing profitability and risk for both new and inforce contracts. You'll work with product, distribution, finance, and risk teams to shape pricing strategies and present insights to leadership. This is a hands-on actuarial role that combines modeling, analysis, and cross functional collaboration to drive sales and protect profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Perform pricing analysis for new or redesigned EB contracts and rider benefits (COLI/BOLI, PPLI).
  • Set and justify pricing assumptions and model new product features.
  • Develop pricing strategies and address actuarial model and risk questions.
  • Collaborate with product development and distribution to meet profitability and sales goals.
  • Direct or run complex pricing models using MG-ALFA and Andesa for EB products.
  • Present analysis results to team, partners, and management.
  • Assess risk management strategies, reserve and capital requirements, and tail risks.
  • Evaluate design changes for impact on reserves, capital, and profitability.
  • Maintain and improve actuarial pricing models and tools; support regulatory and tax filings.
  • Prepare reports and presentations documenting assumptions and methodologies; contribute to special projects.
Key requirements
  • 6+ years actuarial experience
  • FSA credential preferred
  • MG-ALFA modeling experience preferred
  • Experience with Andesa or similar product illustration software a plus
