Overview In this role you will lead drainage design and delivery for transportation infrastructure across Florida, partnering with FDOT and other public-sector clients. You will work within the roadway team to support resilient, sustainable solutions for highways, bridges, and multimodal systems. You'll tackle hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, stormwater design, and permitting to ensure FDOT standards compliance. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape drainage outcomes on high-impact public projects and advance infrastructure that connects communities.

Responsibilities- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, specifications, and permitting documents
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling including stormwater system analyses
- Develop stormwater management designs and obtain permits per state/local regulations
- Review drainage designs, plans, and reports for FDOT and municipal projects
- Ensure design quality and compliance with FDOT standards and guidelines
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Transportation Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida
- 5+ years post-PE licensure
- 10+ years of drainage design experience for highway/roadway projects
- Pump Station and Deep Well experience
- Proficient in OpenRoads Designer
- Strong knowledge of FDOT Design Manual, Standard Plans, and Drainage Manual
