Manager, Legal Operations & Strategic Projects

Overview

In this role you will lead the legal operations and strategic projects for Audacy, coordinating cross-functional initiatives to streamline contract management and document workflows. You will manage complex transactions, including M&A and financings, and serve as the central driver for department-wide projects. You'll maintain organized data rooms, trackers, and closing binders to support efficient decision-making. This is a hands-on, collaborative position at the intersection of legal, finance, and operations with a meaningful impact on growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Lead legal operations and core department initiatives and projects
  • Manage multi-faceted transactions (M&A, financings) and organize contracts in virtual data rooms
  • Coordinate due diligence streams and responses to diligence requests
  • Build and maintain project management tools to monitor diligence and post-closing matters
  • Maintain closing conditions checklists and track corporate approvals
  • Oversee legal document execution, escrow mechanics, third-party consents, and closing exchanges
  • Act as primary driver of strategic projects and ensure timely task communication and deadline adherence
  • Manage administration of contract-related resources and collaboration tools (iManage, DocMinder)
  • Draft agreements and notices using templates and disclosure schedules with attorney oversight
Key requirements
  • 5+ years experience with broadcast media/entertainment contracts
  • Experience managing complex transactions and building contract databases/virtual data rooms
  • Ability to synthesize information from Finance, HR, IT, and Programming
  • BA/BS from an accredited college or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with Google, Microsoft, and Adobe, and building project trackers
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively
  • Strong discretion, judgment, organization, and communication skills
  • Prior personnel management experience preferred
