Overview In this role you will partner with the corporate accounting team to ensure GAAP compliance and accurate financial reporting. You will manage general ledger activities, subledger controls, and year-end processes while supporting external reporting and audits. You'll drive process improvements, assist with financial analysis, and oversee specialized areas like lease accounting and stock-based compensation. This position offers growth within a collaborative finance organization and exposure to SEC-related reporting and planning with FP&A.

Responsibilities- Record and monitor transactions in the general ledger per GAAP and policy
- Maintain subledger and perform annual fixed asset audit
- Prepare monthly reconciliations and resolve GL/subsidiary discrepancies
- Develop and implement accounting processes to enhance controls and efficiency
- Assist management with financial analysis and prepare reporting including current period and recast items for financial statements
- Coordinate external reporting and support SEC filings; prepare quarterly impairment analyses with models
- Review finance contracts for proper accounting treatment
- Prepare monthly financial reporting package and support planning activities with FP&A
- Oversee lease accounting processes including validation, completeness checks, and disclosures prep
- Manage monthly bonus accrual and stock-based compensation accounting, including data reconciliation and vesting oversight
- Oversee the lease process and annual operating lease planning; roll-forward of SEC documents
- Develop and oversee two junior contributors and ensure accurate month-end entries
- Review and approve month-end close activities and lease process
- Oversee roll-forward and accuracy of SEC filings and disclosures
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in accounting required
- 7-10 years of general accounting experience
- Experience with SAP or FAS preferred
- Active CPA license preferred
- Strong MS Office skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
