Overview

As Senior Property Title Analyst you ensure proper perfection of commercial real estate collateral to support loan documentation, closing, and ongoing collateral monitoring. You will collaborate with lending, credit, compliance and legal teams to resolve title issues and maintain the bank's lien positions across multi-state laws. The role involves analyzing title reports, coordinating with escrow and in-house counsel, and refining title-related processes. This position offers growth within a multi-disciplinary environment committed to integrity and cross-border banking excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze preliminary title reports, title commitments, surveys, appraisals, and flood determinations
  • Identify and discuss title issues with lending staff and credit supervisor to resolve collateral-related problems
  • Serve as liaison between escrow, title, in-house counsel and stakeholders to perfect commercial real estate collateral for loans
  • Identify title endorsements and exceptions on title reports
  • Design and update Lender's Instruction documents to ensure proper Title Work
  • Prepare lender's instructions, SNDAs, tenant estoppels and related documents to maintain Bank's lien position
  • QC and approve lender's instructions prepared by others
  • Provide instructions to Loan Administrator and Documentation Specialist for collateral perfection
  • Prepare and update Title Perfection policies and procedures
  • May perfect all real estate collateral and prepare loan documents using LaserPro per policy
  • Create management reports as assigned
  • Participate in CCR and ILM system testing
  • May perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance
  • Special education in Title Work/Title Law
  • 5+ Years of title/related commercial real estate experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Commercial Real Estate Title Law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good leadership and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/loans simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Loan system experience (FIS preferred)
  • Document Imaging system experience
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not offered)
