Overview

In this role you help advance nuclear energy solutions at Framatome by guiding engineering work from planning to execution. You will lead and coordinate engineering activities within a cost center, ensuring standards, policies, and customer requirements are met. You'll mentor and develop your team, strengthen cross-functional relationships, and drive improvements through best practices. Responsibilities
  • Plan and direct timely execution of engineering activities within assigned cost center(s).
  • Ensure projects and processes comply with policies, objectives, and customer standards.
  • Develop and administer engineering standards and procedures for the group.
  • Set goals, objectives, and performance standards for team members.
  • Foster development and training to optimize results.
  • Collaborate with customers to build strong relationships.
  • Research and assess best practices, proposing improvements.
  • Contribute to special projects as directed.
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 10+ years related experience
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering standards, techniques and criteria
  • Excellent communication with all levels of staff, management, and customers
  • Ability to build interpersonal relationships and work collaboratively
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced CAD, FEA, CFD tools and programming skills
  • Experience with NSSS repairs and replacement; knowledge of primary component fabrication; familiarity with ASME code
