Overview In this role you will lead the day-to-day activities of the support functions within a Swagelok manufacturing site, focusing on maintenance, tool rooms, and MRO stores. You will be part of the Plant Leadership team, collaborating across operations to maintain service capacity and deliver quality on schedule. You will drive Lean daily management and cross-functional improvements to reduce cost, improve safety, and enhance productivity. Responsibilities- Direct and mentor the support functions (maintenance, tool cribs, MRO stores) to meet production needs
- Lead start-of-shift briefings and ensure smooth cross-shift handoffs
- Apply lean daily management and problem-solving to improve cost, quality, service and safety
- Supervise Maintenance Planner/Schedulers and allocate resources for scheduled work
- Manage tooling and MRO inventory, ensuring proper accounting and availability
- Enforce Swagelok policies and regulatory compliance in the plant
- Contribute to safety oversight and incident reporting
- Support hiring, employee development, and performance management processes
- Foster high morale and cross-functional collaboration to achieve area goals
- Document incidents and disciplinary actions as required
- Balance transactional and transformational leadership and develop cross-functional skills
Key requirements- 2+ years of supervisory leadership in a manufacturing environment
- MS Office suite and systems (e.g., CribMaster, CMMS) desirable
- Technical understanding of area equipment is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
