Senior Financial Analyst

In this role you partner with the R&D organization to drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You will manage budgets for headcount, operating expenses, and capital equipment, and perform ad hoc analyses to enhance R&D financial management. You collaborate with R&D heads and cross-functional Finance/PM teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables. You may also support enterprise initiatives impacting all of R&D and strategic collaborations. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic pharma environment with visibility across the R&D portfolio.

• Manage headcount, FTEs, OPEX, and capital equipment budgets for R&D groups
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to improve R&D financial management
• Collaborate with R&D heads and Finance/PM colleagues to ensure quality, timely deliverables
• Support Director, Alliance Finance on initiatives affecting all of R&D, drug development programs, or strategic collaborations
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enable budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

• Bachelor in Finance/Business or MBA (minimum degree)
• 3-5 years of experience in Business/Finance
• Extensive MS Excel experience with advanced functions and pivot tables
• Proficiency with MS Word
• Experience with ERP financial applications (Oracle or Hyperion is a plus)
