Responsibilities- Assist Director of Finance in timely monthly financial statements
- Record hotel revenues daily and explain variances
- Monitor cash flow and operating forecasts
- Coordinate with Department Heads to keep operations on track
- Prepare bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
- Supervise accounting staff
- Ensure compliance with Highgate policies and internal controls
- Manage receivables, payables, cash balances, and deposits
- Analyze financial data to advise on hotel objectives
- Hire, train, and develop staff under director supervision
- Prepare special reports as requested
- Handle other special projects as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor in Accounting
- Strong PC skills including Excel and Word
- Experience with financial accounting systems
- Strong organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication
- Hospitality financial management experience desirable
