Fleet Aviation Senior Training Analyst

Overview

In this role you support US Fleet Forces as a senior training analyst and action officer, advising on aviation fleet training policies and execution. You will serve as a subject matter expert for naval aviation live, virtual, and constructive training, coordinating with multiple commands and stakeholders. You help identify training gaps, develop analytic products, and present findings to senior leaders to inform decisions. The position combines program analysis, cross functional collaboration, and program execution oversight in a mission critical training domain. A strong public speaking and time management skill set enables you to lead high level discussions and steer complex initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and execute Fleet aviation training with TYCOM and NFC to ensure training and certifications are completed
  • Provide SME on Fleet training across the aviation spectrum including FRTP
  • Assist in oversight of Fleet training and certification requirements and events for unit, basic, and integrated FRTP training
  • Support FRTP training oversight and events, and analyze training needs and delivery
  • Develop and deliver aviation training information papers, briefs, and executive summaries for leadership
  • Prioritize aviation training efforts to meet Fleet operations and coordinate with CSG-4, TYCOMs, and other services
  • Provide recommendations and advice to USFF N7 representatives in forums and working groups
  • Coordinate with carriers, TYCOMs, and other commands on Fleet aviation training execution
  • Review training plans to ensure Fleet training is integrated and delivered
Key requirements
  • U.S. citizen with a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree and Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Active naval aviation military experience at WO/LOA/officer level or higher
  • 9 years of general training program analyst experience (13 years in lieu of degree)
  • Experience with naval aviation LVC training execution (Air Wing Fallon, COMPTUEX, FST)
  • Willingness to travel up to a week for certifications at Fleet Concentration Areas
  • Proven written and verbal communication at senior executive level; ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
