Overview In this role you ensure the quality and reliability of Bentley software for infrastructure projects. You will design tests, execute regression and exploratory testing, and collaborate with product and development teams to improve quality and user experience. The position blends civil engineering domain knowledge with software QA practices in a hybrid environment. You contribute to a professional culture that values cross-functional collaboration and continuous learning within Bentley's Civil product suite.
Responsibilities- Design and execute test cases from product specifications
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing
- Develop and maintain test plans and scripts
- Log, track, and manage defects through the lifecycle
- Validate customer-reported issues and ensure timely resolution
- Collaborate with development and product teams to uphold quality standards
- Support internal teams with product insights as needed
- Continuously learn and stay updated on Bentley's Civil product suite
- Recommend improvements to enhance product quality and user experience
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field with 2-5 years of road design experience using Bentley and/or other tools OR at least 3 years of road design software testing experience
- Familiarity with Bentley software such as MicroStation, ProjectWise, OpenRail, OpenBridge, and Open Tunnel (plus)
- Understanding of software testing and QA processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of 2D/3D geometry and mathematical concepts
- Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks independently
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (a plus)
- Experience or knowledge in automation testing tools (a plus)
