Overview In this role, you provide counsel on AmeriGas legal matters spanning safety, regulatory settlements, contracts, and litigation. You will support field operations with timely legal guidance and risk management to align with business objectives. You'll handle incidents, real estate matters, and AG investigations while interpreting evolving propane industry regulations. This position offers a chance to influence compliance strategy and work closely with senior management in a dynamic energy environment.

Responsibilities- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements (vendor, customer, and general business)
- Answer legal inquiries from field operations and offer timely day-to-day counsel
- Provide guidance on safety compliance, regulatory settlements, and AG investigations to minimize risk
- Manage incidents and claims, coordinate responses, and coordinate with outside counsel
- Support real estate transactions, including purchase agreements and easements
- Interpret regulatory changes affecting the propane industry and advise on business impact
Key requirements- Juris Doctor; 12+ years corporate legal experience
- Member of a state bar (preferably Pennsylvania) in good standing
- Experience with energy matters preferred
- Excellent negotiating, drafting, and issue-spotting skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple contracts and projects
